This December the 7th singer-songwriters Molly Parmenter and Shannon Davis will be at the Cape Cinema in Dennis with a full band each performing a set of songs from their new albums: “Gladly” (Molly Parmenter), and “Tell Me a Story” (Shannon Davis). Molly Parmenter combines pure, dreamy vocals with a smooth, percussive guitar technique and a natural and intimate lyrical style, to deliver songs of love and loss with equal parts sincerity and grit. The haunting vocal melodies and lyrical prose of Shannon Davis paint a vivid picture in the mind of the listener, telling powerful stories of desire, darkness, and hope. Parmenter and Davis will be backed by a full band of all-star players consisting of: their producer, Jon Evans (bass), David Ellis (drums), Rich Hill (keys), Tom Davis (guitar), Pat McDonough (guitar), Catie Flynn (background vocals).
