Howard (James Cosmo) is a widowed sailor living alone on the coast of Ireland and struggling to care for himself. His daughter, Grace (Catherine Walker), hires Annie (Brรญd Brennan) to help out around the house. Though Howard initially rejects this imposition, Annieโs charm and gentle care win him over, and the two fall in love. Annieโs large and loving family welcomes Howard into their lives, but these new relationships only serve to illuminate the depth of pain and hurt between Howard and Grace, who is facing challenges of her own. Graceโs resentment tears at Howard and Annieโs otherwise idyllic seaside love story. This windswept drama deftly balances a universal family saga with a tender and timeless romance.

At the age of 5, in his native Mexico, he learned to play the violin. At 8, he developed a lifelong love for the guitar. At 14, he honed those guitar virtuoso skills and his performance style working a street musician, starting his own band long after, while still a teenager. And at 22 โ just before his first album was released to acclaim โ Carlos Santana became one of the major discoveries of Woodstock, anchoring the famous festivalโs second afternoon on August 16, 1969.

Winning over popes and emperors with his iconic, revolutionary works Titian succeeded in becoming one of the artists that symbolized the entire Renaissance. Titian was an extraordinary master of color and a brilliant entrepreneur, innovative both in a paintingโs composition but also in how to sell it. In only a few years, Tiziano Vecellio became the official painter of Venice and the utmost artist sought after by the richest and most influential Courts in Europe.
From Ferrara to Urbino, from Mantua to Rome, up to the Spain of Carlos V and his son Felipe II, Titian crossed his century illuminating it with his works of art, inspiring future generations of artists. Perfect interpreter of religion and mythology, portrayer of immediate expressive strength, he dominated his time outshining his contemporaries, always abiding by his motto: โArt is more powerful than Natureโ.

About Us
Cape Cinema
Cape Cinema has been one of the premier destinations for entertainment on Cape Cod since 1930 and continues to be committed remaining such. While most of the website features upcoming events ranging from movies and theatrical performances to concerts and the ballet, this page can fill you in on some of the building history.
Cape Cinema has been entertaining locals of Dennis and the rest of Cape Cod, Massachusetts for nearly one hundred years. The building was constructed in 1930 and founded by Edna Tweeny and Raymond Moore just a couple years after the Cape Playhouse. The exterior of the cinema often confuses new guests who ask us how long the building has been a theater and when it stopped being a church. To the surprise of many, the building has always been a cinema.ย
